Elaine Masson

Elaine joined Empire HR in 2005, bringing over 20 years experience to the Company. After graduating from Edinburgh University Elaine started her HR career in London, working for a national retailer specialising in remuneration and benefits before concentrating on store openings and recruitment, which brought her back to Aberdeen and a move to the oil & gas industry.
Elaine has extensive experience in the fields of generalist HR, employment law and staff training. As well as working on the Advice Line, Elaine develops and delivers many of the training courses provided by Empire HR including disciplinary and grievance, appraisal and TUPE.
Elaine is a Chartered member of the CIPD and , in the past, has tutored on the post graduate HR diploma.
Elaine enjoys travelling (by train and boat!) and has visited the Baltic as well as other parts of Europe. She has a very patient husband and two teenage sons who cause her lots of sleepless nights, particularly about the state of her house when she returns from her travels!
